The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Irish American Club in Glastonbury. A vote will be held to reallocate money from the current wage package into the Health & Welfare Fund. Pizza and refreshments will be served. 

Beginning December 2nd, the "MICROCAST" station will be streaming a video for 24 hours on the Killingly Concession stand.  Press Release by Bob Beauregard, Business Manager, Carpenters Local #24 "Approximately 100 union members provided the labor necessary to construct a 1600 sq. ft. concession stand, complete with handicap accessible restroom facilities.  This structure is adjacent to the new Killingly High School Athletic Complex.  In addition to volunteering their labor, trade unions and their contractors donated materials and equipment to this project.  Local vendors also graciously supplied materials at discounted prices to support the completion of this facility. Union tradesmen collaborated in a gesture of appreciation to the Town of Killingly, Killingly taxpayers and the Permanent Building Committee.  The Killingly Town Council and the Permanent Building Committee came to the same conclusion that having a Project Labor Agreement in place prior to construction of the Killingly High School was the best method to assure that licensed and skilled tradesmen would be utilized during the construction of the High School Project.
