Alliance for Economic Justice
The
Alliance for Economic Justice was formed by 19 labor unions
to heighten visibility and focus attention on the three key economic
areas of job creation, health care, and trade.
Their web site is designed to highlight the effects these issues
have on the livelihoods of working men and women. It provides
current information, links to other news sources including the
labor movement, legislative developments and reports, and the opportunity
for AEJ members to offer comments and viewpoints on job-related
and economic matters.
AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust
The AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust is a registered investment company
regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission and governed by a
Board of Trustees. Trust investments of over $4.5 billion have financed
more than 75,000 units of multifamily and single family housing
nationwide.

A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI), a national
organization of black trade unionists, was founded in 1965. APRI's mission is to fight for racial equality and economic
justice.
